Shane McClanahan – All-Star Pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays
We had the pleasure of welcoming Shane McClanahan to JS Watch Co. Reykjavik when he visited our small workshop in downtown Reykjavík.
As one of the most exciting left-handed pitchers in Major League Baseball, Shane has made a name for himself with his high-velocity fastball and sharp breaking pitches, earning multiple All-Star selections with the Tampa Bay Rays.
His visit was a great experience, as he showed a genuine appreciation for fine craftsmanship and mechanical watches. We’re honored to have him as part of our Wall of Fame and look forward to seeing his continued success on the mound.

Few individuals have had a greater impact on Icelandic culture than Bubbi Morthens.
For more than four decades, his music, lyrics, and storytelling have become part of the soundtrack of Iceland, inspiring generations and earning him a place among the nation's most influential artists.
To celebrate his 70th birthday in 2026, JS Watch Company Reykjavik worked together with Bubbi's management team to create a unique one of a kind timepiece. The watch features an Icelandic volcanic ash dial with golden lava details, along with a series of personal engravings commemorating important moments from his life and career.
Designed, assembled, and engraved in Reykjavik, the watch was created as a tribute to a remarkable artist whose contribution to Icelandic music and culture continues to resonate across generations.
