Company Introduction
Founded in 2005, JS Watch Company Reykjavik is Iceland's first and only watch manufacturer, creating handcrafted mechanical timepieces from its workshop in the heart of Reykjavík.
The company was established by four passionate watch enthusiasts working alongside Master Watchmaker Gilbert O. Gudjonsson, whose decades of experience helped bring their vision to life. Their goal was simple: to create mechanical watches inspired by Iceland that would stand the test of time and be passed from one generation to the next.
Every JS Watch is designed, assembled, regulated and carefully inspected by hand in Reykjavík. Production remains deliberately limited, allowing every watch to receive the attention and craftsmanship expected from a small independent workshop.
Each timepiece combines carefully selected Swiss mechanical movements with high quality European-made components. Rather than following trends or producing watches in large quantities, JS Watch focuses on timeless design, traditional craftsmanship and long-term reliability.
Today, JS Watch Company Reykjavik is recognised internationally among collectors and enthusiasts for creating authentic Icelandic mechanical watches while remaining true to its founding philosophy: to build the very best watches possible, one at a time.
