From the workshop to the open sea! 🎣
Sigurdur Gilbertsson
Every summer, small fishing villages around Iceland host sea fishing tournaments where the competition is fierce – most fish, most species, and the biggest catch. Last weekend in Akranes, Master Watchmaker Gilbert stepped onboard and made history, landing the largest haddock ever caught in the tournament, weighing 5.86 kg.
Not bad for someone who usually works with movements, not monsters!
