What happens at 17:48? Congratulations, you've just discovered one of the Solar Eclipse's hidden stories!

Hidden Easter Egg:

The Solar Eclipse dial contains several subtle references to the eclipse itself.

• The pink hour marker at 5 and the pink minute marker at 48 mark the exact moment of totality in Reykjavík.

• The pink accents were chosen to reflect the beautiful glow of the Sun's chromosphere, visible only during totality.

• During the VI hour, day briefly flips into darkness. The inverted “V” in the VI flips with it, symbolizing that extraordinary moment.

This hidden detail was intentionally left for observant owners to discover, wonder about, and perhaps even ask us why! :)

The 17 and 48 on the dial are subtly highlighted in pink, marking 17:48, the moment when the total solar eclipse reaches totality over Reykjavík. The pink accents were chosen in collaboration with Sævar, inspired by the beautiful pink solar prominences that often become visible around the edge of the Moon during totality, together with the breathtaking Baily's Beads and Diamond Ring effect that signal the arrival of the eclipse.

Each colour is limited to just 50 pieces worldwide.
