30 POUNDER CLUB LAXA IN ADALDALUR

Many excellent fishermen have spent years searching for the trophy 30 pounder salmon and now finally and for the first time there is a special 30 pounder trophy watch exclusively available to the very few and special members of this prestige Big Laxa club.

JS Watch Company Reykjavik has designed a special watch for and in collaboration with Laxa in Adaldalur, only available for those who have caught a 30 pounder salmon in this very special river and are a part of their 30 pounder club. The watch is based on the famous Sif NART watch that was designed for the Icelandic Coast Guard and is waterproof down to a depth of 1,000 meters.

The watch has a beautiful blue sunburst dial with white text and orange 30 at 12 o'clock, transparent indexes and salmon silhouette in the centre, luminous hands with orange tips and on the steel back of the watch you will find the club's logo badge engraved.

The dial was designed by the well known fish whisperer, guide and graphic designer Nils Folmer Jorgensen who has caught few 30 pounders in the river.

The River Laxa in Adaldalur, also known as Big Laxa, is the Queen of Icelandic salmon rivers. It is known for its breathtaking scenery as well as yielding on average larger salmon than any other river in Iceland.

The Laxa in Adaldalur flows gracefully from the unique Lake Myvatn toward the ocean in the wide Skjalfandi bay in north-east Iceland. The river is best known for its large salmon. It is renowned for its unique setting, in beautiful and lush surroundings, and for the quality of the fishing. Most weeks during the fishing season produce fish over 20 pounds and the river is known as the best in Iceland to try for a 20 or 30-pounder Salmon.
