In 2010 we got the idea to ask the most prominent artists in Iceland to join with us in order to create something very special and to make the outcome of that creative work our contribution to KRAFTUR, a society to support young people who have been diagnosed with cancer, and their families. Now little over a year later we present two highly exclusive watches. Here are pictures from our workshop showing the assembly of one of these very special watches.

Earlyer this week our Master Watchmaker, Gilbert Ó. Guðjonsson, was teaching his grandson, Gilbert Arnar Sigurðsson, the basics of watchmaking in our workshop here in Reykjavik. They always enjoy spending time together and now the grandson is getting more and more lessons in watchmaking. Gilbert the grandson is the the third generation to be interested in the watch business.

On the SIF - N.A.R.T. we decorate the inside of the case back with Circular Graining (Perlage) even though the only one who will be able to enjoy it's beauty is the watchmaker servicing the watch in the future.
This is just one of endless hidden details inside our watches.
