Late last century it appeared as if the time of the classic mechanical watch had passed. Quarts powered watches were released on the market and these were cheap to produce and accurate. It seemed very likely that the mechanical watch would no longer be center stage. That did, however, not turn out to be the case. Cheap mass production did not appeal to everyone and the mechanical watches became important as luxury items. Recently sales of high quality watches have soared; demanding customers want watches that do not only serve the purpose of measuring time, but are also a valuable jewellery with technology that builds on tradition from previous generations. Time pieces from JS Watch co. are made with care and respect for those traditions, using only high quality components and classic techniques. We say that we produce our watches 50 years ago when workmanship and personal attendance of the watchmaker was the standard in the high end wristwatch trade.
