In 2005 four passionate and enthusiastic watch collectors had a dream come true.
Under the guidance of Master-Watchmaker Gilbert O. Gudjonsson we unveiled, after years of preparation our own collection of mechanical timepieces, JS Watch company was born. Working on our designs for years we were confident the time was right to launch JS Watch co. Reykjavik. Our Icelandic designed and constructed collection had an instant positive impact on the local market, and soon gaining international recognition with collectors and connisours of fine mechanical watches.
Our idea of engineering classically inspired designs to modern precision, using finely constructed traditional mechanical calibers adjusted by hand, respecting the watchmaking traditions of the past has proven successful. Our customers instantly appreciated the personal attention given to them by us-fellow enthusiast. The idea of purchasing a watch from a watchmaker had been forgotten in the era of big brands.
All JS Watch co. timepieces are designed and assembled by hand in our studio/workshop located in Iceland. In our production we only incorporate high quality Swiss movements, European made parts and components. Every detail of our timepieces has been given the personal attention needed for perfection. The low volume of production gives every timepiece a personal character and a feeling exclusivity.

Gudjonsson Master Watchmaker can be found at the owner operated workshop, store and design studio at Laugavegur 62, 101 Reykjavik, Iceland. Our Master Watchmaker Gilbert O. Gudjonsson was honored by being nominated Icelandic Craftsman of the year in 2009.
